The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for all visitors, clients, applicants, and incoming communications at the McAllen site. This role is responsible for maintaining a professional and welcoming front-of-house environment while ensuring efficient handling of inbound calls, visitor management, and administrative support. 

 

This position plays a critical role in supporting daily site operations and enhancing the overall client and employee experience. Additionally, this role enables cost optimization by allowing security personnel to remain focused on core safety responsibilities rather than administrative or receptionist-related duties.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • 1–3 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing role preferred
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume, fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Professional demeanor and appearance
    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
    • Must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday during standard business hours

 

HIGHLY DESIRED

    • Experience in a corporate, call center, or high-volume office environment
    • Experience managing multi-line phone systems
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred to support the local community
    • Experience supporting events, site coordination, or administrative planning activities

Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all visitors, clients, and applicants entering the facility
    • Manage front desk operations, including visitor check-in, badge issuance, and sign-in protocols
    • Answer and manage the corporate phone line, routing calls and relaying messages to appropriate departments in a timely and accurate manner
    • Respond to general inquiries regarding site operations, hiring processes, and basic company information
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth visitor experiences, including client meetings and onsite interviews
    • Support site leadership with administrative and site planning activities, including event coordination and logistics
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional lobby and reception area at all times
    • Partner with security to ensure compliance with site access policies and procedures
    • Assist in monitoring lobby activity and escalating any concerns appropriately
    • Support operational efficiency by reducing interruptions to production staff through effective call routing and message handling
    • Provide general administrative support as needed
    • Perform other related duties and assignments as required by leadership
